Welcome to Indian Institute of Jewelry Manufacturing. Online Jewelry CAD Designing Program is a 40 Session course designed for the students aspiring to become Jewelry CAD Designer and cannot relocate to Ahmedabad due to work and schedules.All you need is a desktop/laptop and willingness to learn new. The CAD designer produces drawings that serve as three-dimensional (3D) model for manufacturing jewelry. One will be able to create CAD model using 3d software and tools to produce a range of jewellery designs that are also practical for manufacturing. CAD drawings provide all the information that forms the basis for every stage of manufacturing the jewellery.

    Curriculum is designed is a way balancing the theory and the practical aspects. It includes Introduction to CAD and Rhinoceros, how is CAD Done and basic to CAD Designing. Theory regarding what should be the thickness of metal and technicalities, Ring Anatomy and Types of Rings, different types of settings, types of domes and flow in jewellery. Converting CAD File to STL,Budget Calculation, Weight Calculation in different Metals, Diamond Weight Calculation, etc… Practical includes learning different tools and commands and making all types of jewelry using them like Rings, Earrings, Pendants, Bangles, Bracelets, Bali, etc. This is 90% practical subject and only 10% of theory. By the end of the course students are able to create 3D models of Jewelry successfully.
